Samantha Vuksanic, SHRM-SCP

Samantha Vuksanic joined Ikena in June 2021 as Head of Human Resources. She brings more than 10 years of experience in human resources strategy and operations and has designed numerous initiatives to enhance company culture and increase employee engagement. Her experience spans many facets of human resources including compensation, employee relations, staffing and organizational/talent development. Samantha joined Ikena from SQZ Biotechnologies, where she led the HR business partner function and worked closely with management during the company’s transition to an early-stage clinical development company. Earlier in her career, Samantha held roles of increasing responsibility at Solid Biosciences, WilmerHale, and Myriant Corporation where she implemented various talent development and business partnership initiatives. Samantha earned her SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Forensic Science from Syracuse University.
