Valdas Jurkauskas, Ph.D.

Valdas Jurkauskas’ expertise is in developing and commercializing small molecule modality therapies, building global contract manufacturing networks and managing pharmaceutical supply chains. He was a member of teams that commercialized Incivek at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Zerbaxa at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, acquired by Merck, and Vafseo at Akebia Therapeutics. Valdas earned his B. Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
