Srividya Subramanian, Ph.D., Esq.

Srividya (Vidya) Subramanian joined Ikena in 2020 and brings over 15 years of expertise advising numerous biotechnology companies, both as in-house and as external legal. Before joining the Ikena team, Vidya was patent counsel at Compass Therapeutics, LLC and drove its intellectual property strategy and supported the overall legal function. As a patent agent at Nixon Peabody, LLP, she advised biotechnology companies and academic institutions on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution strategies, freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses, as well as business development activities, in modalities ranging from biologics and cell therapies to small molecules and oligonucleotides.

Vidya received her Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School, magna cum laude, with a concentration in Intellectual Property, and her Ph.D. in Immunology from The University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her research fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is admitted in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
